RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY

Nau-t-Cat boats are individually manufactured to order. This means that cancellation and returns can differ from ordinary off-the-shelf retail products.

Nothing in this policy excludes any statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

1. Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

Where production has not commenced, we will consider the cancellation request subject to applicable law.

Once production or procurement of customer-specific components has commenced, cancellation may no longer be possible in circumstances where the law permits us to decline the cancellation.

2. Custom Orders

Additional consideration applies to customised boats.

This includes boats with:

custom colours;
custom graphics;
custom decals;
boat names;
special electronics;
non-standard components; or
other customer-specific specifications.

Once work or procurement has commenced on a customised order, cancellation may be restricted to the extent permitted by law.

3. Change-of-Mind Returns

Because our boats are made to order, we do not offer a general commercial change-of-mind return policy for completed customised or made-to-order boats where the law does not require such a return.

This does not affect any statutory cooling-off, cancellation or return rights that apply to a particular transaction.

4. Defective Products

If you believe your boat has a manufacturing defect or does not conform to the agreed specifications, please contact us.

Please provide:

order number;
photographs;
video where appropriate;
description of the issue;
battery and equipment information; and
details of how the boat was operated.

We may require the boat or affected component to be returned for inspection.

5. Refunds

Where a refund is legally required, it will be processed in accordance with applicable law.

Where no statutory refund right applies, Nau-t-Cat may consider a refund request on a case-by-case basis.

6. Return Shipping

Where a return is required because of a confirmed defect or another circumstance for which Nau-t-Cat is legally responsible, return shipping will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Where a return is requested for a reason for which the customer is responsible, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs where legally permissible.
